Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-27
This is Knotmark's umbrella privacy policy. It covers how we operate as a company. Each product has its own product-specific privacy page that describes what that product collects in practice.
Who we are
Knotmark is an independent software studio. The data controller for products published under the Knotmark brand is Knotmark (info@knotmark.com).
What we believe
- We collect the minimum data needed for a product to function.
- We never sell personal data.
- We never use third-party advertising or behavioral tracking inside our extensions or apps.
- We tell you, in the product-specific privacy page, exactly what leaves your device — and exactly what stays local.
What this page does not cover
This page does not describe what any specific product collects. For that, open the product-specific privacy page linked above. Chrome Web Store reviewers and end users should treat the product-specific page as the authoritative description.
Children
Our products are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you. Because most Knotmark products store data locally on your own device, you typically already have direct control: uninstalling the product removes the data. For data we hold on a server (when a product offers cloud sync), email info@knotmark.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date and, for active users, surfaced inside the affected product. Historical versions are available on request.
